What is even happening?

Well, he could be a grandfather in his 30s (or I suppose mid-20s, but that's just squicking me out).

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Go, Hec with the reading! Also, hi, Dee!!

Awww...Windsparrow and Daniel with the schmoop. Love it!

Had a meeting bright and early at 8:30 and now I think I need more coffee.

Trust my rage

Yeah, he doesn't look old. Probably in his 40s. But still, I thought I was getting some kid who just wanted to make a few bucks. It's not a big deal - I've rationalized that what I'm paying is worth the having-it-done-today-without-exposing-self-to-dangerous-chemicals-or -having to go to the store aspect of it. I just thought it was a lot to pay and I'm glad I'm not the only one.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Yay for Windsparrow-DCJ schmoop!

ION, the movers are here, and are removing stuff from my house. It hardly seems real.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, Anne, that's really exciting. I really hope this move goes well for you.

Cool Anne. I hope the move goes well.

Anne, good luck with the move. I always hate it when the movers come. Usually, though, I'm sad about the move. It always seems like my home until the minute they start packing up and then I feel homeless until the movers on teh other end are dropping my stuff off.

Librarian Warlord

Good luck with the move, Anne!

Schmoop is good.

Hec's reading was a lot of fun. People of all ages were having a great time with the readings and music together. That's a wonderful lurker story! Hec kept saying how much he loved doing the readings because he got to meet authors he'd only dealt with in email, but I suspect Dee will be the one he remembers.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Good luck, Anne!
