This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can't even.

Whew. The Empress is appeased. My world is no longer askew. The sun just came out here, too. Coincidence? I think not.

Sorry about the ongoing bumpyness, Gud. Strength to you.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The Empress is appeased.

I love this phrase.

Although it makes me feel somewhat like a giant dinosaur or something bringing back the memory of Joe's suggestion that I walk down the aisle to the theme from Jurassic Park.

Love.

The weather is perfect here. 75 and partly cloudy.

I'm getting the pig!

Crap, Gud. I wish I had something helpful to say. Instead I'll offer virtual hugs. {{{Gud}}}

If I had someone around doing dishes, taking out the trash, cleaning, etc., I'd be worshipping rather than criticizing.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Gud, I'm so sorry. You're putting so much work into your homelife and getting so little back from your wife. I am so, so glad that Emaryn and Leif are so bright and affectionate and generous with their hugs and love, but that doesn't begin to make up for the deficit of adult love and partnership. I'm just so sorry.

{{{Kristin}}} just because. And my God, you look blazingly hot in that corset. And it was great, just utterly fascinating to hear you and ND talking about teaching -- though disheartening; you're both such obviously gifted educators with such infectious passion for your subjects that it's just gut-twisting to hear your stories of being kicked down and smacked around by administrators and bureaucracies.

{{{Sparky and Sparky's DH}}} He's a sweet, good man, and the people he loves very much deserve a kinder deal from the universe.

What is even happening?

Cass, Sophia told me that when she used to have anxiety attacks, she would say to herself (in her head), "I am calm. I am calm. I am calm." I have used it when the agoraphobia is trying to bite, and it works.

Think of this as stage fright, which usually works to help you give an energized performance. You've already given this woman a great story to tell her friends about you calling her in the middle of the night. You're pretty. You're charming. You're in like Flynn.

Love,
Dead but still pretty
