I can just imagine. (That was to vw, but Anne has my sympathy as well.)
So, it's my sister's birthday. It's a gorgeous day outside, my brother got in last night from Russia, and they're going to a baseball game today.
I, OTOH, am going to work.
Crap.
A week from today, the movers arrive. A week from tomorrow, I go to settlement and get a nice fat check for this house. A week from Thursday, I hit the road. A week from Friday, I will be in my house, possibly with nothing more than a cat, an Aerobed, and a carload of electronic equipment.
This is all so exciting! And crazy-making for you, I'm sure.
I can just imagine.
Thanks.
Happy Birthday to your sister, brenda!
{{{Nora}}}
Sorry, Nora. It sucks to spend a third of your day doing something you hate.
Thanks for the hugs and good wishes, all.
And yay, Jen! I may have to try the Cupid thing, once life settles down a bit. He sounds like a nifty fella.
Gris, I think the idea of Rory cheerfully getting into bed
repeatedly
with a married man
contributed to the use of the term. That wasn't normal at my university.
Anne, when you check in again, insent.
I second ita's thoughts on Rory.
And the part where Rory was defiant sure didn't hurt.
Nora, I command your day improve.
vw -- exactly the same for you.
Thanks ita. Today's actually a little better. I wish I'd hear back from the detective, but I guess you can't have everything.
Raquel, if you check in, Mal is just so very sweet. And all that Pooh! I just love it! (I'm a big sucker for anything Pooh related.)
Raquel, Mal is GORGEOUS! I wish the bureaucrats would pull their heads out of their butts so you could get the interbunny at home.
