Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimée, go get curry.

Yes, ma'am. We have a little Curry in a Hurry round the corner from us now. I'll go try it. What KIND of curry?

brillig

I like the (presumably) adult finger in the picture that gives you a scale on just how TINY she is.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

We're gonna call her Tickybox for the rest of her life, aren't we?

Sweet. (Baby!)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

TICKYTICKYTICKYTICKYTICKYBOX!!!!!!!

I am literally thisclose to tickling my monitor right now while cooing "Who's a widdle ticky box? Is you a widdle ticky box?" She's that cute.

(And no, Tep, I'm sorry. It's over between us. I just can't be with someone who doesn't eat all the same cheeses as me.)

Because books.

Baby!

Wow. So dainty and intelligent! And the little newborn caps kill me dead with the cuteness every time.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay Tickybox! Pretty little girl.

I actually have texture issues with most.... nearer-to-the-equator? mid-world? cuisines. Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, and Central American are coming up as examples. There just tends to be a - well, mooshiness that pops up in each of them. I don't like the texture of most Thai curries, I hate lentils, etc.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD, PRINCESS LILLIAN TICKY BOX!!!

Princess Tickybox seems even more miraculous to me than most Buffista babies. I remember when Plei was alluding to infertility issues; then one magic day she announced she was pregnant. Then came that awful party where she was whisked off to the hospital and put on bedrest.

Me too, Betsy. I feel like I just let out a breath I've been holding for almost nine months.

I think I have something in my eye....

My, Tickybox has good aim.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What KIND of curry?

Chicken Tikka Masala. Didn't you listen to me? It's a good starter curry. Very flavorful but not hot. You can work your way up to the spicier curries.
