[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

(And no, Tep, I'm sorry. It's over between us. I just can't be with someone who doesn't eat all the same cheeses as me.)

I *knew* you were a cheese-ist.

GO BACK TO BURNING MAN, HIPPIE CHEESE-IST!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay Tickybox! Pretty little girl.

I actually have texture issues with most.... nearer-to-the-equator? mid-world? cuisines. Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, and Central American are coming up as examples. There just tends to be a - well, mooshiness that pops up in each of them. I don't like the texture of most Thai curries, I hate lentils, etc.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

WELCOME TO THE WORLD, PRINCESS LILLIAN TICKY BOX!!!

Princess Tickybox seems even more miraculous to me than most Buffista babies. I remember when Plei was alluding to infertility issues; then one magic day she announced she was pregnant. Then came that awful party where she was whisked off to the hospital and put on bedrest.

Me too, Betsy. I feel like I just let out a breath I've been holding for almost nine months.

I think I have something in my eye....

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My, Tickybox has good aim.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What KIND of curry?

Chicken Tikka Masala. Didn't you listen to me? It's a good starter curry. Very flavorful but not hot. You can work your way up to the spicier curries.

I know I haven't posted in a long time, but ...

I just squeaked "Princess Ticky Box" outloud in the office!!! Oh my gosh, so cute!

A friend of mine had a baby on Saturday, and I held him on Sunday, and oh!Baby-so-cute-and-soft-and-little-and-yummy-Squeeee!

Beautiful Lillian!

Librarian Warlord

Wow, Lillian is beautiful.

Paneer is yummy. Indian is one of those foods types that it is just too difficult for my husband to find something on the menu that he can eat (he separates milk and meat and is very picky) so I don't get to indulge in it much.

And, I have just discovered that the crown I must get next month costs more than two tickets from Oakland to Portland (Maine) to Seattle and home again. I haven't asked for any yet, but a little job ~ma for my husband would not be out of place when I have to balance the checkbook and figure out next month's bills.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the cheese is wearing Steph and Jess.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

We're gonna call her Tickybox for the rest of her life, aren't we?

Well, duh. I know I am.
