Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

aw, Owen. He's so smoove.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Huzzah, Owen! You go with your big bad milk-requesting self! That's fantastic news!

Now that a proper separation between topics has been established, Susan, IMO you are so very right about "cock." I'm pretty damn certain it's period, it's totally what a soldier would say, it's a vast improvement over candied length, and this Jane Austen-phile has no problem whatever with the word. Plus, I'm pretty sure I've seen it used in a couple of Regencies over the last year or so, so unless my fevered brain is totally making it up you've got established, published precedent. Go team cock!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

We should afiance all the Buffista sprog!

Emaryn is a little older than Benno, but it would be worth it just so their pure-bread third generation buffista childe could introduce her folks at on parent/teacher night.

Princess Ticky Box and Aidan are an obvious pair. Can you imagine the joy and glee in Gothland when she showed up with an albino boyfriend? Awesome.

Leif and Kara seem like a good match, but they should probably adopt if they ever want to sleep again.

If Annabel and Frannie were a couple their grammar would transcend mere perfection.

Any others?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Go Owen with his signing self!!! Excellent!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh, good god. My back is spasming, and I'm sure it's from changing my tire. Sometimes it's better to be a helpless flower and let the strong, strapping menfolk do the hard work.

Fortunately I have muscle relaxers left from my last episode of Stubborn Back. I'ma take one and go to bed. With any luck, it'll relax and go away overnight.

WAY COOL OWEN!

That's so cool that you're signing to him. I have some friends of mine with a boy about to turn one at the end of this month and they've been signing to him. I don't think he's signed back to them yet, but they've said he seems to understand a lot of the signs made to him.

I love that you tagged me Trudes, but that attribution properly belongs to Denis Leary.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Feel better, Teppy!

Feel better, Teppy!

What would make me feel better is reading a post in Beep Me that we have a TICKYBOX!!! Maybe when I wake up, she will have made her debut.

And thanks, Fred.

Our wings are not tired.

Soothing virtual backrubs to you Teppy. And I agree that a morning PTB arrival post would be very sweet.

Go Owen (and mom)! One of my GF's growing up was the oldest of 6 kids and their parents were deaf. I'll have to ask her this summer if the kids picked up signing at the same time they learned to speak. I'll tell you though, it was the noisiest house you can imagine. When I would sleep over the kids would shout to each other all night.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ha! Guess they didn't have someone yelling at them to "Be Quiet!"

Teppy, I hope the muscle relaxers do their job. I'm all liberated and shit, but I still think I'd call AAA.

Note to self--renew AAA membership.
