Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Words are flowing out like /endless rain into a paper cup / They slither while they pass / They slip away across... me

And now I have to go figure out just how many years Eve spent pregnant... (42! The Answer!)

She might have had multiples.

(I know, of course, but I'm not telling)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I wasn't raised with a literal interpretation of the bible. I don't know where I got the giant thing. I wish I could find some support for it. I'm gonna have to do some research. (eta: And Betsy comes through for me. I must've been thinking of Nephilim. Also, Boston Terriers are great dogs!)

If I only had a brain...

The KJV of Genesis 6:1-4.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

[That's where you got the giants: the KJV.]

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The key issue is how do you translate "Nephilim". The KJV makes it "There were giants in the earth in those days."

So big girls WERE hot then! HAH! Totally missed my era. Dude.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So big girls WERE hot then!

Nah. Looks like the men were still insisting the women be small (apparently God didn't have any daughters).

Yeah, sure you do. Universe, we're pretty much convinced around here that you know nothing or you wouldn't treat people the way you do.

I think they look like guinea pigs.
