Well, I ended up in the hospital for several days, got a spinal tap, couldn't walk. Turned out to be a mysterious ailment that went away on its own ("Must have been a virus settled in the child's spine"). Did the nun apologize? Hell no.
Bad nun! But weirder to me is the fact that just yesterday my coworker was telling me a similar story about her father. He had a harder time recovering, but is now OK, I guess. Weird shit, man.

I think we had a similar list a while back, but this one had one that was new to me. So now we also gotta worry about telomere erosion....
Didn't check out the list, tommyrot, but from what I've read, telomere erosion isn't so much a threat to mankind as a fact of aging.
