But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is it too early for me to miss LA?

No - you know you can always stay! Nahhh you'd miss the cool new job but still.....

EtA: Those pink spandex pants that ita linked to? My best friend had a pair of those. *shudder*

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

the sausage curl stage..oy!

I love these. I have drooled over sausage curls since I was about seven and in love with Shirley Temple. And no, we are NOT contemporaries!

These were the ones [granny boots] with the b&w or brown& white rag socks sewn in. They weren't bad, I just remember them clearly.

I still have a pair of these. I don't wear them often, but every now and then....

Of course, I NEVER throw anything away. I'm bad that way.

Spiral perms. Sadly, even I succumbed to this. All grown/worn out by the time I was 14, though.

Aww, Perkins, it's never too early to miss LA.

I bet Lily misses LA, and she's never been there.

Everything is better with stripey tights.

Hell yes.

Man, I wish the recovery room had had a working Ethernet port. There was *nothing* on TV yesterday or this morning, and reading books and nursing are unmixy things. Stupid page turning need.

Ooh! Do you have one of those super-wide black elastic belts that were so popular in the late 80s? They were 6-9" wide, and usually had some sort of odd metal clasps in the front. I've been searching *ages* for one.

Plei!!!

I like Lily's initials, by the way.

Aww, Perkins, it's never too early to miss LA.

I was just going to say the same thing.

Stupid page turning need.

Man. That bites. Are all the nurses too busy to help out a new mother in need?

I miss those! I had a friend who had one that laced up the front, and was closer to a foot wide. It was so effin' cool.
