Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Heya Nilly!

I'm finally, finally going to bed. All the party stuff is packed, and tomorrow I just have to pack my bag for the weekend and run a few errands, and then off to the hotel.

Oy.

And leave Ruby a lot of food. I feel terrible leaving her alone for two days, but whatcha gonna do?

She'll appreciate me more when I get back, yes?

Swouncing

Oh, Allyson, I know what's the time in your timezone, and I'm glad to read you're going to bed. Me, I'm going to my apartment to clean for Passover until I have to run out for the last bus for my parents for shabbat.

She'll appreciate me more when I get back, yes?

She may pretend that she doesn't, being a cat and all, but I think she definitely will.

Hopefully you won't read this, due to going-to-sleep-already, but I hope you have a good weekend, in every aspect.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Allyson, good luck with the party (although you won't need it--as DH says, you don't need luck when you've got PLANNING on your side).

hip deep in pie

ita! the hell! You're supposed to be in top form for Saturday!

The bruising will just lend add a layer of "She means business."

Nilly, I was paying my phoen bill the other day, and it was for $47.74. I was thinking, "Nilly would so appreciate that number."

I definitely pulled something moving boxes at work yesterday. My coworker and I easily moved 80-100 bankers boxes around. No lifting today.

What is even happening?

I didn't realize the party was this soon. Good luck with it, Allyson. I'm sure it will be a crazy success, because it's your party.

note that there is no centrifugal force on Teppy. The force does exist, but it acts on the couch, and not on her.

That's just what the force wants Teppy to think. It's going to fling her outward through the couch. And don't blame me when it happens. But at least it isn't centripedal force, because that would be the force of anthropods, with scads of legs (although not actually 100, I don't think).

Hello, Nilly. When does Passover begin for you?

NoiseDesign, I'm going to start wishing right now that you don't have a Very Buffy Birthday.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Timelies! It's looking more and more like a very good weather weekend, just the right kind to spend lots of time in my backyard.

Which, alas, this is the best weekend (because of Patriot's Day) that I can spend down in NJ with my Mom. So I may get to spend the good weather out there instead....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good morning!

There is dried blood falling from my mouth. Haven't looked at a mirror yet.

I am in the Vicodin haze I expected, and as such, need to call in sick. By "call in" I mean write an e-mail saying I Won't be there, but I'll field e-mails on this one project and take the 11am conference call, since the customer is anxious. Pfft.

OC question: Trey didn't do it, right? He's just taking a bullet for the lovely Marissa, and setting off judgmental Ryan? With a good chance that Marissa will try and find out the truth of it? Okay, three questions. Vicodin haze, I guess.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ugh.

As the Senate heads toward a showdown over the rules governing judicial confirmations, Senator Bill Frist, the majority leader, has agreed to join a handful of prominent Christian conservatives in a telecast portraying Democrats as "against people of faith" for blocking President Bush's nominees.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Hil, I think I just threw up in my mouth a lot.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I'm a democrat and I'm against people of faith who are idiots. Does that count?

I watched no primetime TV last night because I was busy convincing Randy Johnson to allow home runs. (It worked.)

P.S. Welcome, Eddie! Or, like, just a regular hello because I think you have been around and I just have not seen you what with my offboard franticness.
