But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

"Son Of A Preacher Man" and "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" also do nicely.

Thanks for the tip. I'll remember that if I'm ever as brave as I was last night. I think, though, I'll just remain a one trick song pony. I got a decent enough reaction with that song, and I'm not willing to push it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Of course, I also like "We Built This City."

I used to turn the volume up on Night Flight whenever this one came on.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

So bored. I would like to go home now.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

omigod, that facial was EXACTLY what i needed. My skin feels fabulous, though blotchy from the extraction and brow wax.

And now to deep condition my hair, maybe take a nap. I just had lunch and a bit of chocolate.

Damn. I could live like this.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got a decent enough reaction with that song, and I'm not willing to push it.

Oh, you could totally do "Son of a Preacher Man" and "Boots." All about the sultry attitude - as is "Fever."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What about "Too Darned Hot"? That's in a similar place in my head.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

For those with a limited range, Ringo Starr songs are your friends, plus everybody knows them.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

What's a Ringo Starr song? He was a Beatle, right? Did he go solo afterwards?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I just got an email from paypal saying they had flagged my account andasking me to go to Paypal.com website to verify my info, but I'm not a Paypal member, so I guess I should assume this is a scam of some sort?

Up with the sun

Yes. Any unsolicited email asking you to verify an account = scam.
