All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What about "Too Darned Hot"? That's in a similar place in my head.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

For those with a limited range, Ringo Starr songs are your friends, plus everybody knows them.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

What's a Ringo Starr song? He was a Beatle, right? Did he go solo afterwards?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I just got an email from paypal saying they had flagged my account andasking me to go to Paypal.com website to verify my info, but I'm not a Paypal member, so I guess I should assume this is a scam of some sort?

Up with the sun

Yes. Any unsolicited email asking you to verify an account = scam.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What's a Ringo Starr song? He was a Beatle, right? Did he go solo afterwards?
No, it's a song about Bart Starr. When the Packers won the first two Super Bowls, his players would hold up their Super Bowl rings to him and say, "Ring-O! Ring-O" and then sing a song. The songs they'd sing became known as Ringo Starr songs.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah. But the only one I can think of right now is the one with "She smiled because I did not understand" and "No,no,no' in it

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So. Many. Bad. Songs.

Someone (I think it was Lyra Jane) mentioned liking "From A Distance". That one always cracked me up with the badness, just because the lyrics (God is watching us, God is watching us, God is watching us, from a distance) always made God sound like a creepy stalker/peeping deity.
