We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

If you get drunk enough, and your friends are also drunk enough to be willing to sing back-up, "Leader of the Pack" is wonderfully fun to perform. It works better if your mostly-drunk boss in the back-up band makes "vrrroom-vrroom" motorcycle noises in the appropriate places.

Not that I would know anything about it, of course.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It was kinda fun though, and people clapped! I don't think I'd do any other song though. That one's a good one for smokers.

"Son Of A Preacher Man" and "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" also do nicely.

If I only had a brain...

Yeah, a couple of times. I guess I should send the husband into the attic when he gets home.

Good idea. That way the axe murderer will sate itself on him.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

This is the color that I want: [link] I don't have the faintest clue if it would even look good on me, but I like it, and there is some reddishness in my hair, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Singing is fun. Everyone should sing. In my class last night, Leonard Maltin decided that he should make us sing, so the short we watched was "She Reminds Me of You." Which was awesome. And a bunch of us actually did follow the bouncing ball, and sang along.

I've never done karaoke. Every time I even vaguely contemplate it, I start brooding about how much my voice has gone downhill since my long-ago music classes.

Like anybody in your audience is conscious, Jilli. And that old guy with "My Way" thinks he's FG.(There's always a "My Way" old guy...it's a rule.Like cops and "Danny Boy")

::really really wants to see Jilli do karaoke. Something blithe and wicked, maybe, like a Disney villain song.::

Ooooh, villain songs ... Which reminds me, I must buy the Little Mermaid soundtrack off of iTunes tonight, because I have this strange urge to hear "Poor Unfortunate Souls".
