What is even happening?

That's a eulogy from an interesting perspective. There's admiration, disappointment, and respect, all bound up into one tight bundle.

There was no Patrick Dempsey in my dreams. shame. Still had a wonderful night's sleep.

Today I have a job interview. I'm dressed all business snazzy. I haven;t yet figured out my excuse to leave work early, but I'm not too worried about it.

"it's your tiny ineffectual fists....and you're bossy..."

I cracked up at the first instance of that reference. Quite a bit, yes.

Cashmere, my SIL had a chocolate cake for my nephew's first b-day and he adored demolishing it. It was quite fun. Especially when he decided he didn't want to get his hands any more gooey so he went at it with no hands. Be prepared for a very um, interesting diaper the next day, though. Well, if he eats as much as D did.

OH & good luck, msbelle.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, little O!

I have a question for Desperate Housewives watchers -- do you like the housewives? Who do you like least/most, and why?

I'm trying to work out if their likeability is a concern or not ... I did read one of the writers or creators (probably Marc Cherry) saying that Susan was the most popular, because she had the most vulnerability. Which I think is a load of crap, and makes me wonder if they think it's possible to like them all.

I've never seen Desperate Housewives, but I'm going to say I like the redheaded one the most, primarily based on my inability to identify any of the others.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I like the redheaded one the most for many reasons, not least being that she's the redheaded one.

not least being that she's the redheaded one.

That helps too.

I don't watch DH anymore, but Felicity Huffman's character was my favorite.
