You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh crap. Apparently Paul Hester of Crowded House and Split Enz has committed suicide.

Yeah. I found it hard to get it out of my head for a week or so. Very unexpected.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Aimee and MM were here. They took stuff, which was cool. Now I just need Sean and ita to come take the rest.

Also, Ozzie the cat is frantically trying to get his scent everywhere Emma was. It's funny.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sorry I missed the shindig, Perkins! It was my mom's last night here and she took us out for the ritual chicken 'n waffles. She's now on her plane. She's great and a wonderful guest, but it's awfully nice to have the place to ourselves.

She was very stressed out when arriving about my niece in rehab and post-chemo worry, but we are sending her home all rejuvenated, which makes me happy.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Perkins! I'm going to miss your place.

I liked your place. It was neat.

Of course, I expect your new place will rock, too.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Perkins' place in Maine is very nice, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I always love buying lemonade from little kids at stands! I wonder if any of my neighbors will do that this summer...

It is a glorious day here, but I have been too tired and cranky to enjoy it. After doing some school work, I made a couple of attempts to sit in the sun, but the people were too annoying, so I came home and laid down for an hour. Am feeling slightly better, but yuck. I've been getting not-quite enough sleep for too long, and it finally hit me.

I'm going to miss this place too. The new place is a lot smaller, but still nice, and it has much nicer views. (Though not as nice as the Maine place) It will have a guest room, that I hope will get used by lots of Buffistas.

Robin, we missed you (and Burrell), of course, but I'm so glad your mom had a good visit, and got a chance to relax.

Tom, those are beautiful pictures. I'm amazed at the fact that all those blooms are out there. My forsythia is just starting to bud!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm watching CNN and they reported a 6.1 earthquake in Tokyo. How significant is that?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

nice pictures Tom! It is a nice day here. I've wandered around the back yard a few tiems, but I haven't done much of great impt. that's ok with me- I am going to work tomorrow , so I figure one more day of being the sickee might make the first day of work easier.
