I'm going to miss this place too. The new place is a lot smaller, but still nice, and it has much nicer views. (Though not as nice as the Maine place) It will have a guest room, that I hope will get used by lots of Buffistas.
Robin, we missed you (and Burrell), of course, but I'm so glad your mom had a good visit, and got a chance to relax.
Tom, those are beautiful pictures. I'm amazed at the fact that all those blooms are out there. My forsythia is just starting to bud!
I'm watching CNN and they reported a 6.1 earthquake in Tokyo. How significant is that?
nice pictures Tom! It is a nice day here. I've wandered around the back yard a few tiems, but I haven't done much of great impt. that's ok with me- I am going to work tomorrow , so I figure one more day of being the sickee might make the first day of work easier.

In Japan? Could be fairly significant. They have problems with fire.
There was one in Japan in addition to this earthquake?
Yeah, it's a different one.

Well, that's good anyway -- looks like not a lot of damage etc.
I ended up with a lovely day doing a whole lot of yardwork! And I sat out on the patio and read! I coudl really get into this "temperate climate" thing.
Perkins, I am so bummed we missed it as well. I had a house full of in-laws, and seeing as how they were all doing work for us, we took them out for dinner as a thank you.
Today I am just pooped. I can't handle two active days in a row, at least not for the next few weeks. (Speaking of inactivity, it's naptime soon.)
