It's completely overcast here too. I see little suns in the status bar of my browser so I guess it will get sunny tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor Homer.

Heh.

It is overcast but still warm here. Nice for being outside.

Trust my rage

I have a solid row of thunderstorms in my browser. :(

I'm only surprised it took them so long.

Well, they only recently thought to put bats on treadmills.

I think with birds that light entering through the skull can effect sleep, so painting the head blocks the light and changes the sleep patterns.

Tangentially, I vaguely remember a study where it was discovered we have photoreceptors on the backs of our knees. Which I find hilarious.

Bear in mind though, that I'm not an Ornithologist, I only play one on the Internet.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've heard that light on the back of the knee thing. As a remedy for jet lag, I think. It was too strange for me to pursue, though.

That must be why Bush uses the internets instead.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What I want to know is why someone even thought to try this in the first place.

Well....according to the professor, he was testing a theory that animals react to sunlight absorbed through specific parts of their bodies. But it sounded suspiciously like the study had been invented after a bunch of sleep specialist grad students had shaved all the birds in the lab on a drunken bet.

Not anymore. At least not down here. Completely overcast.

I like overcast. And it's the perfect temperature. Don't wanna be inside.
