That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

But there was a Captain Vegetable on Sesame Street, right? Or was that on some other kids' show? I remember the theme song: "It is I, Captain Vegetable, with my carrots and my celery..."

eta: ooh, another good gift suggestion.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Kate, you can also add some margarita mix, salt and some tequila, if you're feeling generous. C&B has all but the tequila, and you can get them to box it up for you. Then you can add a bottle of tequila. or not.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

(Yes, for some reason, I can sing the entire Captain Vegetable song from memory.)

What is even happening?

From Cashmere's link:

No, Cookie Monster isn't being turned into a "Carrot-Stick Monster." But he will learn that, as one of the show's new nutrition-oriented songs puts it, "A cookie is a sometime food."

OoC! OoC!

Oy. Well and thoroughly earwormed now.

DH and I recieved a TON of glass bowls for our wedding, and we returned each and every one of them for store credit.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

DH and I recieved a TON of glass bowls for our wedding, and we returned each and every one of them for store credit.

That's a thing, too -- if you're not 100% sure of their taste/what they need, go for a place like C&B where they can always return the thing.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

But he will learn that, as one of the show's new nutrition-oriented songs puts it, "A cookie is a sometime food."

Is this really the lesson we want to teach our children?
