Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Wait, the 'Nationals' is the name of the new DC team? What's wrong with the 'Senators'?

Our wings are not tired.

Baseball starts for me after Labor Day. I'm a fall weather fan.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Grey's Anatomy for Perkins:

Dempsey and Washington are hella sexy attendings. Turns out that Dempsey's character is new in town, and was promised chief of staff, and was Washington's. Dempsey knew, Washington did not, and now Washington needs to work on his over-cockiness. Ms Grey kissed Derek in the elevator because she was having a bad day. He's now eating breath mints before getting on again, and she's taking the stairs. Izzie and George will be moving in with Grey. This was her episode of breaking down boundaries, silly girl. They are good things. Christina remains nice and snippy (a line from next week "It's like candy, but with blood! Which is better!"), and Alex has joined their intern team under Miranda.

Did I mention the hot thing? I'm thinking cage match, greased up.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

The Mets have already won opening day. Didn't they beat the Nats yesterday? Which is like beating up on your kid brother, I realize.

As for the Blue Jays, well, eventually they'll probably get good. Like, in another year, perhaps.

I got nothing good to say about the Royals. I forecast their sucking for some time to come.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That was just an exhibition game, Nutty.

The thing the Royals have going for this year is....um....mmm....well, their manager is a pretty positive guy.

I can't even.

I think that was still Grapefruit.

As for the Blue Jays, well, eventually they'll probably get good. Like, in another year, perhaps.

That would be nice. I think .500 is an achievable goal for them this year, and try to plug in a couple more pieces next year.

I see. Not that I will get to see Pedro start today, then, because somehow the schedulers forgot that some fans have to, like, work for a living. The Sox home opener is also on a Monday afternoon, and in cube land, just two doors down from the Big Boss, I can't even do MLBTV online.

.500 is an achievable goal

They were under that last year? Huh. My league awareness has been kinda poor -- the only person I can name on the D-Rays is Carl Crawford. I don't even know who plays for TOR right now. I guess nobody remarkable?

Art Crawl!!!

I'm thinking cage match, greased up

That is so exactly how they should decide who gets to be chief.

Our wings are not tired.

Go Fish! The Marlins should do well enough. I should go see them sometime to be all supportive and stuff.
