We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Congrats on your progress so far, ita! What an accomplishment!

So, quick Buffista poll: I am deeply immersed in writing a press release that requires me to be thinking very clearly. I need to finish and send off a first draft tonight, but I'm getting really tired and muzzy-brained. Do I drink some caffeine, which I know will allow me to focus and finish but will likely keep me up all night--and keep in mind that I have a very long and hard work day tomorrow due to a glitch in the school schedule--or do I attempt to finish it still muzzy-brained and risk it not being as good (and also likely take a lot longer to write it)?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay, ita! Any chance you feel up to dinner? Maybe I can drag meara to your end of town.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That's because St. Nicholas was a bishop.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Happy Birthday, Tom!

Yay, ita!

Kristin, is there any way you could write it and have someone double check it for you, as muzzy-headed insurance, before you send it off?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kristin, I'd be tempted to wake up extra early tomorrow and apply the caffeine to the press release problem tomorrow.

Perkins, sadly no. Especially considering how long it's taken me to write these few sentences. I just scarfed down leftover pizza, and am about to drag my ass to bed.

I am sorry to miss meara, but there's just no way I could stay awake long enough ... well, for you to arrive, really.

Oh, and thanks, guys, for the congratulations. Too tired to even be polite.

Tuesday! Sushi! The krav people are going to mock me for not staying to do fight class, which I've been avoiding with the perfectly cromulent "saving myself for instructor training excuse" (to which one instructor replied -- "Women tell me they're saving themselves all the time. It's never stopped me getting what I want.") This week I'll skip the class with a big old sushi-eating grin, as I sashay to Hump.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Buffy's first college roomie (Kathy?) was on Desperate Housewives.

That's where I've seen her! It was driving me crazy!

And Happy birthday Tom!

I teach Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and fly to Vancouver Friday.

So Tuesday it is.

They will just have to learn to live without me hitting them in their heads one more week.

Why am I not asleep yet??? Stop engaging me!
