I want to compare scars with Em.
doubletake
Anyway. So I forgot to mention -- the map in my photo album (yes, there are only three photos. Oops) is a hand-colored map of Cheshire, with the place names from the Domesday book (thus, Cestrescire), including the town where my mother's family came from originally. By originally, of course, I actually mean after 1066 but before, say, 1750; additionally, I'm pretty sure the actual descent-line got broken at some point in there, so genetically it's not the same family. But honestly, who cares? It's still got her name on it (kind of -- actually, in 1086 they spelled the town very differently).
Er, I ramble. I just thought it was wicked cool and am really excited it got here. Yay!
Sorry, I meant the tinier, less feminine Em.
But really, I've got the childhood scars. I'd already broken my head by the time I was 4. I have a huuuuuge dent.
3) I would like to skip to 2 weeks from now when the guitar show is over and I'm not doing the work of an ad agency, an assistant, a day laborer and a shrink.
DH isn't here - but I have to ask... which guitar show
I figured. Especially since all I've got is a chicken pox scar and a couple sets of stretch marks (I grow in short bursts).
Right. Off to be a Viking.
you can't be a viking without a good scar.
I'm staying at my friends G&J's house tonight. They have one of these: [link]
I think one will soon be mine, as well.
I'm doomed.
And you're just now figuring this out?

Dallas. Huge thing, and they've added drums this year. It's actually fun when you're there, but the whole lead up for me is a bitch. I have to make passes, frame stuff, make fliers and other hand outs coordinate stuff, schedule speakers, hire volunteers and other staff and keep my boss from going insane. I was going to have to design t-shirts and then argue for hours about why they had the design I designed, but thank Bob the ad agency took that off my hands.
On the upside after the 10th, I'll be off for 2 or 3 days.
