OK, I'm still looking for a little help on compiling a list for the Good Dead Vs Evil Dead panel tonight. Here is a list of the movies and series that we've compiled so far. I've put an asterisk next to the ones that I think ran in the past two or three years....

- Resident Evil
- Resident Evil 2
- Return Of The King
- * Bloodrayne
- *Corpse Bride
- The Others
- *Van Helsing
- *Pirates of the Caribbean
- Dawn of the Dead (remake)
- Romero's Land of the Dead
- The Ring
- * The Ring 2
- The Grudge
- Ju-on: the Grudge (Japanese original film)
- Dark Water

- The Frighteners
- Dead Alive (aka Brain Dead)

- G vs E
- Kindred: The Embraced
- Due South
- Haunted

Any more that we haven't thought of?!
You need asterisks by
Bloodrayne
and
The Ring 2.
If
Bloodrayne
counts, then you're missing
Blade(s)
and
Underworld(s).
Thanks!
I guess you can tell which kind of films I'm more likely to go to. If only the French made more horror movies....
Blade? Underworld (which I haven't seen but seems vaguely appropriate)?
How far back are you going? Are these only zombie flicks? There's a great Italian zombie horror-comedy movie from the 80s that I can't think of right now, but it'll come to me in a minute.
A list of zombie films, and no Shaun of the Dead?
Oh, that reminded me -- there was a WBesque vampire movie with the Behr kid (or the Fehr kid)...dammit!
Forsaken!
And John Carpented did a vampire movie too.
THE FUCKING CROW.
Sorry -- I can't believe I forgot my favourite dead guy. Series of movies, plus TV show.
Freakylinks dealt with ghosty stuff, as did The Others (yeah, repetitive).
And The Prophecy 3. Did we know it had gotten to 3?
I Netflixed The Prophecy today (in a moment of "oh yeah, I was gonna add that one too!"), and in fact it goes to The Prophecy 5: Forsaken, though Walken does not seem to be in it.
and in fact it goes to The Prophecy 5: Forsaken
I don't really understand the economics of filmmaking, but I have to say that if The Prophecy can get to 5, then it seems at least possible that Serenity could get to 2.
By Serenity 5 though, it would probably just be down to Mal and Badger sitting in a bathtub together cursing each other in Mandarin.
