The contra dancing was at a wedding, it was delightful.

Contra dancing at the Spanish Ballroom in DC is like a religion for many. EVERY week for decades. You almost can't stay on the sidelines. I love it, except for the pathologically sweaty men. ew.
An old friend once exclaimed,"Contra dancing. Isn't that standing still?"
