Like Gruffydd, he's too much the boy. Jeremy Northam or Dougray Scott would be good.
Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Oh, yes. Northam would be a lovely Bond.
Jason Issacs, but he's been cast as a villian too often.
They need to cast a CGI young Sean Connery.
Actually, they just need to transplant Connery's charisma into Adrian Paul to get the same effect.
Agreeing with the Northam as Bond talk.
Isaacs is all wrong, too thinfaced and milky. Ralph Fiennes could, but wouldn't.
Joseph Fiennes would, but couldn't
You know, a young Christopher Lee would also be a good Bond.
What about Damian Lewis, or is he too baby-faced?
Oooooh, yes, Jeremy Northam! I'd love to see him as Bond. Especially in any Bond gets naked and seduces the villian's henchwomen (or henchmen, c'mon it's the 2000s) scenes.
Much as I love to see Northam's characters seducing guys, I don't think the world is quite ready for filmmakers to take that many liberties with Bond.
The world, maybe not.
My imagination is another matter.
