Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Hey. New board.

She does get thinner and thinner. It's freaky. Also, that eye makeup is indeed freaky, and i generally LOVE too much eye makeup. I'm a fan of the raccoon look.

Gain ten pounds, do more family films, MT! Do it. Ice Princess was so cute.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If Bunty aur Babli is playing near anyone, it's tons and tons of fun -- it's a Bollywood version of Bonnie and Clyde, and DH and I both really enjoyed it. (It's long, so I'll tell you in advance that the love song is your chance to go to the bathroom.)

If I only had a brain...

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I just got the following email:

We are very excited that we have been given the opportunity to invite you and a guest to a special advanced screening of a new film starring a major independent film actor playing one of the most influential writers of all time.

Anyone know what flick this would be?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

BWAH!

Seriously, it looks like maybe an Untitled Ernest Hemingway Project starring James Gandolfini.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Willy Wonka wrote?

Gris - May 30, 2005 2:36:54 pm PDT #3503 of 10002
Hey. New board.

Willy Wonka wrote William Wallace war words.

Say that ten times fast.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm so predictable. Cause I read Hemingway and thought bleh, and then I read Gandolfini and think "Now, hold on,"

Hey. New board.

I hate Hemingway's writing, but might love a movie about him. He was perfect movie material: fucked up in all the interesting ways.
