I'd like to point out that I loved "Spiral" at the time. And to be fair, it's one of those episodes that lends itself to watching the series straight through.

Me too. I love how it's a mini-action movie. I didn't notice any major dialogue issues. It's confused me that it's so hated here.

We watched the finale last night, and he filmed his reaction for the whole episode. It was pretty hilarious how much he cursed Joss Whedon.
