I'd like to point out that I loved "Spiral" at the time.
Me too. I love how it's a mini-action movie. I didn't notice any major dialogue issues. It's confused me that it's so hated here.
So, at this point on this show, I basically feel like anyone who isn’t Buffy can die.
It was really hard to keep a straight face when he said that to me.
We watched the finale last night, and he filmed his reaction for the whole episode. It was pretty hilarious how much he cursed Joss Whedon.

I hated Spiral, being a rewrite participant, but yes, it wasn't the plot issues so much as the characterization and dialogue.

I liked Rohm as Kate. She wasn't a standout the way Charisma and Stephanie Romanov were, but I would not have guessed from her work on Angel that she would end up being one of the most reviled actresses on TV.
