Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Joss jokes that he went with the gypsy curse because it's a "classic" and "Danish curse" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Plus he gets to make Jenny a "technopagan" to toy with the notion.

"Technopagan": A word which brings up dire memories of living in SF during the 90s. Dag, those were some bad neon-brite extensions.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I wonder how they'll react when Xander's penis gets diseases from a Chumash tribe.

That is insanely earwormy. I read it and la la la went about my afternoon. Except I've been humming about Xander's penis for a while now and it's going to get awkward when I have to go interact with other humans.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Except I've been humming about Xander's penis for a while now and it's going to get awkward when I have to go interact with other humans.

Not as awkward as if you were humming on...

Never mind.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Hee!

I had to go and rewatch that song and a) that was the moment that I actually believed Xander and Anya as a couple and b) WHY were his pjs sooo big!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Blah. Fixed.

The link only takes me to the beginning of the comments.

Thanks, Jon. I'm fairly commenter-phobic, so I didn't feel like reading through to find the comment, but it was worth reading.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Interesting post here about Buffy fandom from then to now. Starts from Mark Watches, then talks about the various Web centers the fandom had while the show was still running.

Warning: Discussion of Seeing Red in the comments.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

that is interesting. I find the reactions (in the comments) to Mark to be particularly interesting. They seem to doubt his sincerity and think his persona is put upon.

Food for thought.
