Isn't high school all about romantic intentions misplaced--college too for that matter? Or was that just my experience.
Willow ,'The Killer In Me'
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
I don't remember: did Xander keep his romantic intentions secret from Buffy?
He asked her out and got rejected in "Prophecy Girl."
I don't remember Xander being passive-aggressive w/r/t Buffy. Anya, later on, yes, but not Buffy (and I don't remember that he was with Cordelia either - that was more aggressive-aggressive on both sides).
I'm totally not getting the Nice Guy support citations for Xander over most of his relationships. Sure, he failed to get the girl sometimes, and he fucked other shit up, but not like a Nice Guy.
I should clarify that I don't think passive-aggressive behavior necessarily equals Nice Guy behavior. It certainly can be, but I don't think it was in Xander's case.
In my personal fanon of SKOW,Annie Potts' character tries out "normal" till she breaks up with that guy and goes Goth. But I can also imagine her being Ducky's Mrs. Robinson...is that gross?
I guess because I knew so many girls that were Xander in high School , that I really see it as more of a high school thing. And I sort of had it in college with one guy that I wanted and knew no way in hell would he want me.
But in today's news - I did not like Halloween as much as mark does on his first viewing( I love it now) There are so many shoes to drop
He's clearly devoted to her for who she is, he's got her back as a friend, doesn't think she owes him sex, just that it would be really cool if he could get it.
Yes, and when he had the mojo and Buffy came on to him, he turned her down because he knew that she didn't really want him.
It'll be interesting to see what Mark makes of Faith, and I can't wait for "The Zeppo." I wonder when Mark will notice that Xander has been abused as well.
He's noticing. Or any rate called out a couple of remarks that suggest his home life is less than ideal.
