I didn't realize the writer was a young woman. Who, according to IMDb, has had bit parts in movies but hasn't written anything before.

Really, the only good that can come from this is Tim writing just enough to get a credit and finally I won't cringe when I see him referred to as a Buffy writer. As foretold in every article ever.

When the possibility of this movie came up before I think I remember reading that they would have the rights to the movie characters but not the TV characters, is that right?
