Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

Willow ,'The Killer In Me'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Between Buffy and Angel, which show do you think had the better ending?

Trust my rage

Buffy. I didn't like the Angel ending. Too up in the air.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Buffy.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Tough call. If the victory had ultimately been Buffy's rather than Spike's (with his deus ex pimp chain courtesy of Wolfram & Hart), I'd have preferred the upbeat story in "Chosen." But "Not Fade Away" didn't leave me feeling cheated and unsatisfied afterwards.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What Matt said, really.

I actually like both finales equally for some reason. I thought both were pretty satisfying for me as a viewer and I've watched both multiple times, but I did wish the victory had been Buffy's.

I love "deus ex pimp chain."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Buffy. NFA I kind of hated a lot.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Buffy. NFA I kind of hated a lot.

I'd agree. Buffy S7 I found often tedious and lacking in sense, but the ending was a decent capstone. Angel S5 I largely enjoyed, but the ending from Fred's death onwards felt rushed.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Buffy s5, which I really consider the end of the show, OMWF notwithstanding. I mean, I even kind of like s6-7, but s5 feels like the logical end to me.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I adored the ending of Angel (although it seems I'm in a minority there). Buffy's ending had a bit too much deus ex machina for me. Angel reflected the reality of life - that you can't always win, but you keep fighting regardless. Plus it was a lovely two-fingers-up to the network for cancelling them.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Angel, somewhat because of what Seska said, plus that it was the perfect ending for it, IMHO.

Buffy's ending, while it was fitting to the theme of the show, felt too artificial. Much like the Victorian Era.
