Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Yes. It would all be 20th, sumi. Sorry if I sounded snippy.
From Comic Book Resources Lying in the Gutter:
ADVANCE CANCELLATION
The Buffy Tarot card set from Dark Horse is cancelled. No reasons are given, but I hear talk it was due to conflicts with the representatives of certain actors/actresses who appear on the cards. Apparently make believe occult nonsense is fine, but an actual item that might be used in the black arts is not.
But really. You think someone would have predicted this. Somehow.
He gave this rumor a green light - meaning it's v. likely to be true.
(BTW, in the the Whedonesque comments - people are wonderif if the Gutter guy didn't pick up the rumor from Whedonesque comics.)
ION, Angel and Spike - two of EW's favorite Immortals.

aha! So this is the place. Any word on how long it will be, since it will be airing on the internet?
According to DH.net, they will "air" online only until July 20.
If you mean length, I think it's three ten-minute episodes.
Thanks, P-C! I was afraid that they'd be two and half minutes long, but a total of thirty minutes is much nicer.
As The Boy and I are working our way through BTVS and Angel (he'd never seen them before); we finished Buffy S4 within the past month, and tonight we watched "To Shanshu in LA," and knowing what I know is all going to happen makes me sad, eager, giggly, and really impressed with the storytelling across seasons.
In "To Shanshu," I had forgotten that Wes gets blown up when Angel's cool-ass Batcave gets exploded, and there's that brief scene where Angel goes to unconscious!Wes's hospital room and stands looking at him, and all I could think of was Angel doing the same thing after Holtz kidnapped Connor. And I thought, Holy Crap, that really IS some excellent storytelling.
Everything ripples forward and backward, and the echoes are lovely.
And Wes really IS the universe's bitch, isn't he? And he's SO pretty when he's suffering.

Not as much as Dean is.
runs away
Ooo! We could discuss Archetypes of Suffering or something now! It'd be FUN!
Umm.
