'Objects In Space'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Was it? I don't remember having that theory. (I mean, it sounds like something I might say, I just have no memory of actually doing it.)

Yep. I'm not sure exactly how you worded it, but I distinctly remember you following up by saying it was something you'd do in that situation if you had that kind of power to play around with.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I'm now having bad, bad flashbacks.

I don't really want to revisit the fight, but I think enough people thought different and opposite things that we can say that that particular bit wasn't particularly clear or well written, at least in my opinion.

In all fairness, my bad, bad flashbacks don't involve discussion that took place here.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Incidentally, Mr. Trick was killed off because the actor begged out of the role to take another opportunity.

Which of course is the problem with episodic television -- actors have free will. Of course, the most famous example of this was Oz leaving. I totally believe Joss when he says that Tara died the death Oz was supposed to have.

I really got bored with Buffy defending Spike with "he has a soul", which she seemed to forget that Warren had a soul and it didn't stop him from doing bad.

The problem being, of course, that having the soul fundamentally means he was a different entity than unsouled Spike. More or less. Soulless Spike is the demon driving through the filter of William's memories. Souled Spike is William himself, in a vampire's body. I dislike a lot of how it was handled, but I actually agree with Buffy's sentiment.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have this whole AU theory in which Dru, having vamped a convienent gypsy sorceress, returns to Sunnydale, has the gypsy minion remove Spike's soul, and then those two crazy kids make up.

Thrive to spite them

I really really really hated Spike looking like a walking Gap ad. I just couldn't get over that. True Dru came back and he put on his black again and cattle prodded Buffy tryign to "make" her love him (which actually was characterization I could believe) but he still dressed in khakis.
