Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

You should ask where the interview is going to be so I can stalk him drop in and say hi.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Here's a little paper on Slayer slang as perpetrated on TWoP, focusing on "bitca" and "wiggins."

su-diddly-fucking-uck
Okay, that's funny.

I was equally surprised to note that the large and active Angel boards included not a single bitca or wiggins for this time period

But that's funnier. I'm surprised, too. Pleasantly so.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The two communities were really pretty separate, weren't they? I don't recall ever posting in the Buffy forum.

Yeah, I guess so. There was some overlap, of course, but it was probably a minority now that I think about it. Hm. A lot of it was probably because we had different spoiler policies, since I remember that was a dealbreaker for some people right at the start.

What is even happening?

P-C, that was fun to read. Thanks.

Art Crawl!!!

Found at Scifi Wire:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer veteran writer Jane Espenson has signed a two-year overall deal with NBC Universal Television, according to The Hollywood Reporter; Espenson also wrote for Firefly, Angel, Tru Calling and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, among other shows.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She should write for Eureka.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's an NBC Universal production, so I'm going to dream...Greenwalt advising, Espenson writing...whee!
