Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

'Touched'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Gotta love the combo of exhibitionist actor and too-small concealing props.

Random question: Did the quote "Who died and made you Elvis?" orginate with BtVS?

Cause, I thought it did, but one of my cow-orkers has it on a bumper sticker pinned to her office wall.

I'm pretty sure I heard that before Buffy. Of course, I've always lived within an hour's drive of the center of Elvis worship.

What is even happening?

What episode is that from? Is it BB&B?

Yes!

Xander and Cordelia race down the street. He looks over his shoulder, slows.

XANDER

Now I really think we lost them.

CORDELIA

(genuinely scared)

Dammit, Xander, what is going on?

Who died and made you Elvis?

All is well that ends in pizza.

News from Whedonesque:

R.I.P. Scott Brazil. The Emmy award winner died Tuesday morning at the age of 50. He directed the classic Buffy episode 'Angel' back in season one.

Matt's probably right, it probably existed pre-ME. But still, a jolt to see a Buffy quote like that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. A friend is going to NY next week to interview VK - I wonder if he has a new series coming up? Forgot to ask. But I did remember to tell her to ask him if he still runs like a girl. We shall see.
