The Tivo Newsletter seems to believe that Monk is a spinoff of CSI. Can somebody tell me they're craxy before my head explodes?
Big-time craxy.
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

In the previews, DB is looking and sounding mighty smarmy.
The book character that, I believe, DB's character is based on is pretty arrogant, but he can be charming, too. He's a detective trying to woo Temperance, but she's very skittish (been hurt, blah blah blah). So, he's trying to woo without becoming too overpowering. One of the things I like about the book character is that he's not all schmoopy with her. Arrogant? Oh yeah. Smarmy? Not.
It looks like he'll have a huge, long running hit series on FOX, then.
Didn't work for Point Pleasant.Fair point.

ita took the words out of my fingers.
Though this might be a hit anyhow, since people seem to love the procedurals. (They tend to be a little too dark for me.)
DB just looks strange to me as not!Angel. Which can't be a good thing. Typecasting is nothing to shoot for.
Fortunately for him (now), not all that many people watched Angel.
What Tivo newsletter?
I've heard it stinks worse than circa 1995 rat-eating Angel must have.
Well, I'm glad for David. It looks like he'll have a huge, long running hit series on FOX, then.
::suh-nerk:: based on the previews, it just looks bad. i had the opportunity to watch the pilot, but i wasn't even that interested.
Kitchen Confidential on the other hand? very, very cute and will be getting my viewership.
I'm a little bummed because Aly's series is going to be on at the same time as Seth's series. I think Seth wins me first.
Ears perk up...

Seth has a series, too? I missed this news. Off to Google.
