I've enjoyed a lot of BtVS AU and cross-over fanfic on TTH and AO3. I have no problem with the idea of Buffy not being the main character. But if she's not, hen they shouldn't have planned to have Buffy in the title.

Finally actually read the article. I really wanted to see what this creative team was going to do with the reboot. I still can’t tell if I would have liked the result but I am disappointed not to find out. The mention that the pilot was reading too young seems weird.

I'm pretty disappointed. The actress they cast as the new Slayer was one of the leads from Skeleton Crew, that Star Wars show from last year, that was basically Goonies in space with Jude Law as Long John Silver. At any rate, she was quite good and I had some hopes.

S7 is about as messy as I remember. The narrative is caught between "introduce a bunch of new lore before we run out of time" and "let's get back to basics" AND "keep Spike relevant at all costs" in a way that makes for very lumpy repetitive storytelling even before we merge into the Speeches And Potentials roundabout.
AtS S4 has reached the point where Charisma Carpenter is VERY visibly pregnant, but Cordelia's pregnancy hasn't yet been revealed (she slept with Connor about three days ago in show time) so she's spending a lot of time wearing extremely billowy blouses or sitting down with a pile of blankets in her lap.

I've never understood what the point of the Scrappy Gang was. Like they completely changed their mind about the course of the season after the first couple episodes.
