How do they get anywhere near canon from here? That's what I want to know.
I mean, as an adventure story it was fine -- I'm just not sure how it fits as a Superman story, you know?
Willow ,'Lies My Parents Told Me'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Smack the Pony
Fun. Well, fun enough; I'm not so much a fan of the sketches as I am a fan of Sally Phillips. Of that whole pool of thirtysomething, British comic actors, only Jessica Stevenson and Kevin Eldon can match her. Which, on reflection, isn't that impressive a claim considering how specific it is.
...
So, yeah. Sally Phillips.
And Brainiac is causing the Apocalypse
I originally read this as "Animaniac is causing the Apocalypse" and thought, now that would be worth watching.

Hee! Now I have an image of Yakko and Wakko going "Hello, Nurse!" to Chloe.
Great to see the Americans finally geting to see Spaced, it's just one of the best, ever.
P-C have you got your hands on the DVDs? Fantastic commentaries.
No, I haven't, and I really want to watch the episodes with the Homage-O-Meter on! I don't have a region-free player anyway, though.

And to Lana. And to Clark.

This is my problem too. Lex already knows too much, and how could this Clark ever hide his identity with a pair of glasses?
Exactly. Not that they've much worried about canon before -- but assuming they come back (and they must think that they're coming back -- given the cliffhanger) there really isn't anyway back.
Perhaps that is the plan, given that the people who own the copyright are suing them anyway -- "Smallville" - it only appears to be about Superman -- actually, it's something completely different.
I just watched my tape of "Invasion". I realize that it is unlikely to be back next year -- but man, there just any sort of resolution for this story. I wonder if they're going to end it with the annihilation of the human race?
