A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Exactly. Not that they've much worried about canon before -- but assuming they come back (and they must think that they're coming back -- given the cliffhanger) there really isn't anyway back.
Perhaps that is the plan, given that the people who own the copyright are suing them anyway -- "Smallville" - it only appears to be about Superman -- actually, it's something completely different.
I just watched my tape of "Invasion". I realize that it is unlikely to be back next year -- but man, there just any sort of resolution for this story. I wonder if they're going to end it with the annihilation of the human race?
The Doctor: Frigging creepy.
I did love the way out of the cliffhanger
"Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks 'Oooh, this could be a little more sonic'? "
Well, he was bored. And had a lot of shelves to put up.
Also loved him talking to the nanodoodads. And I really, really want to know what happened in the Time War. CE really does an excellent job of conveying the Doctor's baggage without drowing all the fun in it.
"And everybody lives"
t sigh
Well, this show just jumped up significantly in the "gayest show on tv" hierarchy. And the volume of fic begins to make sense.
Seriously, Doctor/Jack/Rose replaced Spike/Tara/Willow as my OT3.
I love "The Doctor Dances."
Do the Captain Jack doubters believe now?
Oh, and I am still sad about Capt. Jack's ship.
Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks 'Oooh, this could be a little more sonic'?
That was a fucking great line.
And "Everybody lives!" Ouch.
And the OT3ness of it all!
My OT3 is canon. And gets more so in the next episode.
I also love the Doctor faking out Captain Jack with the banana.
Do the Captain Jack doubters believe now?
Mmm. He was definitely better than last week, less smarm, but... this is a guy who chooses to vacation among people who are all going to to die horribly within days, and regards it merely as an anecdote to display how clever he is to other time travellers. He's got a long way to go to be 'bigger on the inside.'
But I did enjoy the snark back and forth.
