Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh sure, but the vicious homicide a la Mathis really does stick in one's lizard brain pan, or at least it stuck in mine.

It was the sniffing to find the wife under the bed that really got to me. And for some reason the song is what helps it stick so clearly in my brain.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Let us merely say that it was a masterful episode of horror.

One which, ironically, also involved Agent Scully, ankle-deep in mud, calling, "Baa, Ram, Ewe!"

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Heh. Jacob's recap talked about things from Dr. Who episodes past that were creepier than last week's titular character, but personally I think the Empty Child camped out at the bottom of the Uncanny Valley and started digging a mineshaft once it decided it didn't like the altitude.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hey, Jars, you might enjoy my LJ post (and the comments from fellow fans). Great show.

Hee! You do like it, P-C, you do. I find it so hard to explain what's great about the show, because there's so much going on, but you've done pretty well there, I think.

Have you watched Black Books? That's my other favourite Brit sit-com, though the Mighty Boosh is gaining ground.

Black Books is pretty funny. I saw a few episodes on the plane to London.
