Oh, and I do remember one thing that annoyed me about Captain Jack in The Empty Child. Lighting up and then keeping Big Ben's clock lit during an air raid? Bad.

I, too, had this thought.
Finally watched "The Empty Child" last night. Right before bedtime. In a dimly lit room.
Probably a bad idea.
Yeah.
So, feeling up to working on no sleep?
Not so much. I mean, I didn't have any gas mask nightmares, but I sure didn't sleep very well.

As creepy as THE EMPTY CHILD was, there going to have to go a lot farther than that to ever disturb me as much as any of the Peacock clan.

The Peacock boys were just your average The Hills Have Eyes-style inbred malformed psychos. But I jumped to the ceiling when Mrs. Peacock wheeled out from under that bed.
Why oh why did you have to go and mention that? I didn't sleep for a week after that episode. I still can't if I think about it too hard. And I like being scared. Gah.

Oh sure, but the vicious homicide a la Mathis really does stick in one's lizard brain pan, or at least it stuck in mine.
The wheeling out was a great jump moment, though.
