I love the title of TWOP's Who recap:
Bisexual Time-Travelling Pirates Unite!
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Spaced! is finally coming to the US!
Oh you guys are going to love. it. In a million ways.
The Pegg! Oh how I love you, the Pegg...
Now all you need is Black Books.
Heh. Jacob's recap talked about things from Dr. Who episodes past that were creepier than last week's titular character, but personally I think the Empty Child camped out at the bottom of the Uncanny Valley and started digging a mineshaft once it decided it didn't like the altitude.
Hey, Jars, you might enjoy my LJ post (and the comments from fellow fans). Great show.
Hee! You do like it, P-C, you do. I find it so hard to explain what's great about the show, because there's so much going on, but you've done pretty well there, I think.
Have you watched Black Books? That's my other favourite Brit sit-com, though the Mighty Boosh is gaining ground.
Black Books is pretty funny. I saw a few episodes on the plane to London.
So which channel is going to be showing Spaced?
We have them on DVD, but our region-free player just went belly-up.
Spaced is all very well, but I want Darkplace DVDs. Now.
Sob.
Aw, and Jacob mentioned my plug for Sapphire & Steel. (Er, not in the latest recap, but I was way behind so I just saw it.) Yay. That's a show that knows how to create dread. Because they had no money for anything else, but even so.
I really didn't think Empty Child was that scary. But I suspect the things that bug me distract me from appreciating the things that are good. That would be reassuring, because I truly expected to enjoy it a lot more than I actually did.

I know! Thanks.

I've seen neither, though I've been recommended both.
So which channel is going to be showing Spaced?
BBC America.

I've never heard of Darkplace. What is it?
