Take me, sir. Take me hard.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

If I only had a brain...

Also, one assumes, in Green Eyed Monster.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

They do in "Coup by Clam."

I think I was too busy covering my eyes to avoid so, SO much else in that episode I might have missed that it must have happened.

Needless to say, an even worse first episode to catch of FARSCAPE than "Bad Eggs" was for Buffy. Definitely did not give the actual, ahem, flavor of the show.

I love Plei's moment. That whole arc.

I think it's been more than a year since I Netflixed. I may need to do again.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Favorite Farscape moments:

The Premiere -- halfway through the episode, Aeryn and Crichton have escaped Moya, and Crichton is sort of left to his own devices while Aeryn tries to hook back up with Crais's command carrier. He wanders just a few feet and stands there with a thunderstruck expression on his face and says, "I'm on another planet." It's just such a real thing to do at that moment.

BBBTF --
Aeryn: What is the MATTER with him??
Zhaan: (sigh) He is Crichton.

The Hidden Memory -- Crichton collapses into seizures in his cell, and we realize that Stark is actually a sane, kind person (actually, the last time I liked Stark at all)

LATP -- During "negotiations" with the queen, Scorpius shows himself, and Crichton folds instantly, crippled by fear.

LGM -- "I'm going to go to Scorpius now." And Aeryn's perfectly practical response to that statement.

There are a lot of little grace moments, quips, bits of character -- it's pretty rewarding on rewatch, I have to say (especially the first episodes, full of establishing detail).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm so glad I'm not going to work tomorrow, because I need to rewatch the entire series right now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think I may just forget about Netflixing it, and go on and buy the series. I think I'll enjoy it more if I can just mainline it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, you should write these up in your LJ.

I will write a new show squee post when I finish the first season tonight or tomorrow night. And maybe another post after each season, if there is interest.

Aeryn: What is the MATTER with him??
Zhaan: (sigh) He is Crichton.

Hee. I love that moment too. And that's also one of my favorite episodes so far, the first one I really liked. I'm a Groundhog Day fan, after all.

Also, apologies to ita, but I do appreciate the whitefonting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You do understand you can't rely on it, PC and anyone is well within thread rules to top, right?

I know. I'm trying to be careful.

Yeah, I'm stepping out of all the whiteont, because some of it is future SG that I caught thinking it was only past Farscape. I used to be pure. Such is the risk of CTRL-A.
