A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Plus, Netflixing that show is a bitch cause of the way the stupid DVDs are set up, all the episodes wackily paired and out of order and shit.
I'm 99% sure that this was only an issue with season 1 (as long as you don't hit the "best of" compilations) and by the time that continuity mattered (i.e. the end of season 1) the eps were paired together correctly.

Stop that!
Sorry! Can't be helped.
33 - the acting in 33 blew me away. you could see/feel/smell the fatigue and tension.
I actually saw the mini AFTER I saw all the eps, and I can see why some would think the mini was boring.
I have nothing against SG or Farscape, it's just not been a priority to hunt down the DVDs.
I say babe. But I say dude a whole lot more. Generally at the beginning of sentences. Like so: Dude, whatev.
I'm really liking BSG, it's dark, but hey, down to our last 47,000 people here.
Six I find un-sexy and uncharasmatic and pretty much bland. But the world would be a dull place if we all agreed.
And anyway Harvey was a much more charasmatic avatar than she could ever hope to be.
Frank is right about the Farscape dvds; by the time order becomes *really* important the dvds are going in the right order.

Good, I thought I had that right.
I really need to re-watch, and soon. Although, not so easy, since I just remembered I lent out season 1. Curses.
Swearword smackdown:
What's your favorite made-up SF swearword? Mine is "frell" because it actually sounds like you're cursing. (Probably because it rhymes with "hell".)
What's your favorite made-up SF swearword?
Smeg. Although I never use it myself. "Frak" is good, but maybe sounds too close to "fuck."
Outside of SF, my favorite made-up swearword is from
Beavis and Butthead:
"butt dumpling."
Or from
South Park:
"Ass spelunker."
What's your favorite made-up SF swearword?
I don't think it originated there, but I always liked MST3K's use of "dickweed".
"Felgercarb"!
No, not really. I use frell all the time.
Conversation Tuesday night:
Me: "It's 90 damn degrees again."
Daughter: "Language, Mom."
Me: "Okay, it's 90 frelling degrees again."
Daughter: "Geekishness, Mom."
