Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I will say, "my balls produce lube!" is a convenient solution to that issue.

Oh, there are always issues in slash with Gotta Find The Lube. So there tends to be a lot of "oh hey, look, I have some in my pocket!" or whatever.

Thrive to spite them

There was a very funny story -- Sentinel I think -- about lube issues, and was inspired by a tale of cooking spray being used for lube.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I spent the whole damn movie waiting for

In Fay's defense, the "Vader was scarred by Obi-Wan knocking him into a lava pit" thing has been known since around the time of the original trilogy.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

It was?? But - it wasn't in the movies themselves (according to the BF it was in interviews from around the time of TESB - which, by the way, came out when I was 7 so I wasn't exactly in the know about those kind of things) - and since it was more or less the denouement (sp?) of RoTS, maybe she could have held off for a bit.

I don't know - I just wished I hadn't come into the thread last week. And that made me sad, 'cause I like the Buffistas.

It was never in the movies (and ESB came out when I was 4) but as far as I knew it was pretty common knowledge, at least among fandom. I believe EM even talked about it in an interview pre-RotS about how excited he and HC were about being able to do that fight scene and making sure that they were both able give it their all to make it as fantastic as possible.

I personally hate being spoiled and I can understand where you're coming from because of that. I'm just saying that I think most people in Sci-Fi fandom consider it common knowledge and, while I can't speak for Fay, I'd imagine it never pinged her as being remotely spoilery because of it.

Since alchohol is a big component of cooking spray, all I can say is OUCH!

If I only had a brain...

Same here; I've known Darth Vader had lava-pit issues as long as I've known he was Luke's father.
