Art Crawl!!!

I'm glad that the prognosis is good. Poor Emmett and poor Hec and poor JZ and EM!

Once, when I was about 13, I fell off a horse and broke my wrist -- meanwhile, in another part of town, my youngest brother got a baseball in the face.

Quite an exciting day for my parents. And it's a good thing that my other brother didn't happen to be doing anything too active on that day.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

{{{Emmett}}}

I'm glad to hear things are easily repairable, including his enthusiasm for baseball.

What is even happening?

Ugh, poor baby. I'm so sorry, JZ.

For what it's worth, Betsy's experience has been mine. If Emmett doesn't get back to baseball! YAY! on his own, just nod sympathetically. Hec is coaching, right? So, he can explain Emmett still needs to accompany daddy to the games, but he absolutely shouldn't play if he doesn't want to. In a couple of weeks he's liable to be itching to play.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Happy Birthday, Kathy!

Poor Emmett! I broke my nose when I was forced to play capture the flag, and it SUCKED. Also, the people in charge at my after school care, apparently in some sort of hindsight at their guilt, really played the incident down when they spoke to my parents, leaving out the part where I was knocked unconscious for a little while because I'd been slammed face first into the concrete. They just told my parents play got rough, and I'd received a nose bleed. My parents took me to the emergency room anyway, but I was really out of it, and just kept wanting to go to sleep, so I didn't insist on seeing a doctor (and, well, I was six. What the hell did I know?), and since all the nurses in the emergency room knew was that I'd had a nosebleed, and triage being what it is, we waited for a couple of hours, and then my parents just took me home, since I'd fallen asleep in my mom's lap. So now I have a crappy bump in my nose, when it used to be perfect, and I'm bitter over it.

Cool. I will probably have to stop a time or two to strech (stoopid PT)

Haha. In and Out!

Man. This is being one of those weeks where I could just really use a hug.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, no! Poor little guy! That's awful.

He'll be a hero to all the other kids, though, and you can totally compare his bravery in the face of pain to Batman and various other surperheroes and his ego will bloom.

Ouch!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Aurelia, I just tried one of the coconut candies. I couldn't finish it, since I was afraid my teeth would never be clean again. At least no ass taste though.

Haha. In and Out!

They don't have them here. What's up with that?

I would hug you if I were in town, Alibelle, and probably feed you pizza too.

That does suck. I do believe they're only in CA, though. Right?

I would hug you if I were in town, Alibelle, and probably feed you pizza too.

Aww, thanks. I would appreciate it, as I do the sentiment.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Aww, my parents sent me a bday present. China from Shreve Crump and Low. They're plates with scenes from olde boston. Public Gardens, Town Hall, blah blah blah beeeooteeful.

I have no idea what to do with them. I'd display if not for earthquakes, and I certainly can't use them for daily use.

I think this is a hint that i should marry a nice man, move back East, and buy a hutch.
