I want a card on which I'll put any large amounts and pay off that month. My low APR card does not have to be the same one as the rewards. In fact, the one I'll probably never let go is the one that intermittently offers 0% APR on balance transfers. I never buy anything on it, since the purchase APR is insanely high, but it's a nice place to tuck balances for a couple months.
I like the idea of Value Miles -- tempting, tempting.

That's fate's way of telling me I'm not supposed to work today, right?
Happy birthday, Raquel!
Discover doesn't actually send you the rewards anymore--they tell you "you've earned this much!" and then you have to actively redeem it. Which I... haven't done for a few years, come to think of it. I should go do that.
Yep, the big 3-9. Almost as bad as the 29th for me, but not quite.
I have a miles card (AAdvantage). 60,000 miles flew me & Bob to Jamaica.
I also have a Delta AmEx, for Delta miles. Obviously, the down side is that it is limited to Delta flights.

That makes sense. I know a couple who use an airline card for their mortgage and all their utilities, and they rack up some serious miles.
