I also have a Delta AmEx, for Delta miles. Obviously, the down side is that it is limited to Delta flights.

I want a card on which I'll put any large amounts and pay off that month.
That makes sense. I know a couple who use an airline card for their mortgage and all their utilities, and they rack up some serious miles.

Whoot! Just got the word that we're closing at three on Friday. Usually confirmation on that wouldn't come until about 2:45 day of, by which point it's sometimes to late to take advantage.
