If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

TAR: I'm good with the teams currently bringing up the rear going out (though Ron and Kelly could join them, too...) but what I want more than anything is for Jackass and Deana to go out before Gretchen and Meredith. G and M have annoyed me in the past, but nothing like the other couple did this time. I was even sorry to see Mom and Kid go, I wanted the other team to fail so badly.

I've gotta think that things at the pit-stops must be getting pretty unpleasant for Rob and Amber. As badly as the other teams are reacting to them during the race, it seems like their behavior off camera must be worse. And it looks like it might be starting to get to them. Rob didn't look on his game at all the first half of this ep, though they got back into it, and his "see you at the finish" remark didn't sound to me like his usual humorous poking.

Uchenna and Joyce and the Brothers are definitely my faves, besides R and A.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Raquel!!

For some reason, that method tends to work better than actually sweating it out and killing yourself over writing the best paper that you can. I don't know why.

It's so true. I had a class last semester where I put decreasing amounts of work into each assignment, and got increasingly good grades.

Next they'll be telling us Whitey Bulger is hiding out on the slam circuit.

Har.

Rio, how was the trip???

I'm the cream of the crop/I rise to the top/I never eat a pig cause a pig is a cop/Or better yet a Terminator/Like Arnold Schwartzenegger/Try to play me out like as if my name was Sega

What is even happening?

What's the name of the tattoed Boston rap band that had a big single in the 80s that involved jumping? I'd thought it was Linkin Park, but none of the song titles are jogging my memory.

I'm earwormed (only with the screechy-music parts, now, as I don't remember enough of the lyrics for a sufficiently sticky lyrics-based earworm). Whatever summer that was big, Scott and I were on the beach one day, next to some kids who had it on auto replay for the whole day.

Then we ate them and threw their bones to the fishes.

Swouncing

Frank! Um, I'm not really here, though. Don't tell anybody.

I had a class last semester where I put decreasing amounts of work into each assignment, and got increasingly good grades.

Oh, I want those classes. Pretty please?

Where was I? Oh. Not here. Um, bye!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

(I actually own the CD because occasionally, it will still get stuck in my head.)

(I own it because I will occasionally do it at karaoke. I had to memorize it because the karaoke CD transcribers suck at getting the words right in any rap song.)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

TAR: The thing I liked best about Rob and Amber this time was, at the end of the detour, he's got this whole thing where he gave the boat-driver his Red Sox cap, blah blah blah, and as this narration is given, what is he wearing? Another Red Sox cap. Who travels the world with a spare??

(This in addition to the wool Red Sox hat he wears earlier in the same episode. Dude needs to diversify his hobbies a little bit.)

Hello, all. I am procrastinating like crazy. Please kick me.

It's actually surprisingly annoying. I'm all happy that I don't have to work that hard, but then I remember how much I'm paying for these classes. Go! Do!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

feel the Everlast love, people.

I will take Ibu since I have that at work, but I didn't take the anti-hist this morning since I am not congested at all and it didn't seem to help yesterday.

ION people at my work were just showing me materials from another organization that they thought we could model some materials after for a future campaign. I think I deserve some sort of prize for not screaming "I won't be working here in the future, I don't give a rat's ass what you do or how it looks. Stop asking my opinion about things I won't be a part of." t /ridiculous immature attitude where I should get rewards for being a normal civilized professional person.
