What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

Our wings are not tired.

gently kisses Gus so as not to wake him if sleep he has chosen

Stupid avoidance of caffeine has me sipping decaf tea.

Yes, the Cincinnati/Kentucky game was sloppy, but I find most college ball to be wild and uncontrolled. I'm mostly watching because it is the only option around here and I have to follow my picks. My picks are random based on nothing factual.

I didn't find the teams any more thuggy than usual, but I may have so many basketball players in my life that I don't notice.

Sure, I'll take the 88888's

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

What, is there no love for WV-Wake? What a game. Double OT, baby!

It was a tremendous day of basketball. UWM-BC was a great game. Ky-Cincy was a great game. Texas Tech-Gonzaga was a great game. Utah-Oklahoma was a great game.

The games yesterday were all exciting. The WV-Wake was really wild and uncontrolled for my taste though. I thought they were going to have to get fans playing with all of the players fouled out.

The most impressive part of the Ky-Cincy was the determination in the paint for rebounds. A lot of heart out there.

Basketball... that's the one with the tall guys and the hoops, right?

I seem to be unable to come up with a plan for today that doesn't involve me handing over my hard-earned $$$ for merchandise at multiple locations. On the bright side, I'll get to play with said purchases immediately thereafter.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I need to do laundry. I'm wearing my only clean t-shirt, which has a picture of a naked man on it. Howerver, many people look right at it and don't realize there's a naked man on it: [link]

(It's the Anne Leibovizt portrait of Keith Haring.)

Maybe too morbid and creepifying for a Sunday morning:

Shark tears man in half

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) -- Authorities were hunting Sunday for a six-meter (20-foot) shark that tore a man in half as he snorkeled off Australia's west coast, an official said.

...

The fatality is the first in Australian waters since December, when an 18-year-old surfer was bitten in half by a five-meter (16-foot) great white shark off a beach in the southern city of Adelaide.

Has this always been happening, or is tearing folk in half a trendy new thing for Aussie sharks?

Nothin' quite says, "Dude, I meant to kill him," like tearing someone in half....

"My drink preference does not indicate my sexual preference. "

I know the Great White is South Africa are friendly and have a tendency to er... is there a name for the species version of crossdressing?

Well, they like to leap out of the water...Like Free Willy, only, without the whiny american boy.

Aussie sharks are into Soylent Green. Well, it's only fair if the sharks are going after fans of Shark Finn Soup.

And so the Australian "X Days Without A Shark Halving" Clock gets set back yet again....
